Description

The module introduces the background to Evidence Based Practice and details all stages of the systematic review process including defining a research question, literature searching, critical appraisal of literature, data extraction and data synthesis. Students will gain practical experience of applying the systematic review process to their own topic and also of responding to healthcare questions utilising the evidence base.
